ENGINEERING CAREER FAIRS

The College of Engineering hosts a number of career fairs for employers to access our more than 8,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

These fairs include:
ECS Fall Engineering Career Fair (UIUC students and alumni ONLY)
September 1, 2009 (optional interviews Sept. 2)
This career fair is for companies seeking students for full-time positions, internships (summer and semester) and co-ops. Attendance is limited based on available space, and more than 1,000 students attend (student attendance is limited to students and alumni from the Urbana-Champaign campus only). Fall Engineering Employment Expo
September 14, 15, 16, 2009
The Fall Engineering Employment Expo is hosted by Engineering Council, a student organization and is for both full-time and internship recruiting. It is similar to the ECS Fall Engineering Career Fair except it is managed totally by the students. For more information go to http://expo.ec.uiuc.edu.

ACM Reflections | Projections 2009 Computing and Technology Fair
October 2009
ACM hosts its annual Reflections | Projections Computing and Technology Fair in October at the Thomas M. Siebel Center for Computer Science. This fair is targeted specifically to students with an interest in computer-related careers, and it is the kick-off activity for the annual Reflections | Projections Conference. Spring Engineering Employment Expo
February 4, 2010
The Spring Engineering Employment Expo is a one-day recruiting event coordinated and hosted by Engineering Council, a student organization. This fair is for both full-time and internship recruiting. For more information go to http://expo.ec.uiuc.edu

Professional Development Fair
February 2010
This career fair is for Civil Engineers only and is held each February by the Civil Engineering Department. Companies may attend by invitation only. For more information contact Carla Blue at blue1@illinois.edu.

The 30th Annual College of ACES (Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences) Career Fair will be held October 8, 2009 at the I Hotel and Conference Center. For more information, contact ACES Career Services at 217-244-4540.

Research-Oriented Science Job and Information Fair:
October 22, 2009
This fair will be held October 22, 2009, and is sponsored by the Biotechnology Center. It provides your company an opportunity to meet science students and researchers at all levels.
