Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research - Works with college deans, department heads, faculty, and graduate students, as well as external agencies and groups to advance research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Administration (OSPRA) - Comprised of three divisions: the Proposal Division, responsible for reviewing and approving requests for external funding; the Award Division, responsible for negotiating terms and conditions of awards; and the Subaward Division, responsible for issuing agreements.

Office of Technology Management - Provides responsive, professional services to ensure the results of research are successfully transferred outside the University to drive economic growth in the State of Illinois and benefit the general public.

University of Illinois Research Park - Offers an environment to bring corporations and start-up companies closer to University of Illinois research, to encourage collaborations, and to encourage economic development.
