Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (VCR)
The Vice Chancellor for Research and his staff work with college deans, department heads, faculty, and graduate students, as well as external agencies and groups to further advance research at the University of Illinois . This office also provides information concerning limited submission programs for faculty with Campus Deadlines.

Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Administration (OSPRA)
OSPRA reviews and approves campus community proposals for external funding from federal, state and private sponsors. The office interprets and negotiates terms and conditions of the awards resulting from these funding requests and also drafts any necessary agreements. OSPRA ensures continuous budget accuracy and adherence to regulations and proposal guidelines.

Office of Technology Management (OTM)
The OTM is responsible for evaluating, valuing, protecting, marketing and licensing intellectual property generated through university research activities.

Research Park
The Research Park at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign provides an environment where technology-based businesses can work with the research faculty and students to take advantage of opportunities for collaborative research and easy access to University labs, equipment, and services.
