Plan Your Gift
Engineering at Illinois relies on the generosity of you and your peers.
Illinois engineers created the world’s most powerful supercomputer on a university campus, electronics that dissolve harmlessly in your body or in the water supply, a safer power grid, and tools that help first responders better address disasters. With your help, future Illinois engineers will have the same opportunities.
But state support is not nearly what it was even a few years ago. The state of Illinois provides us only 62 cents for every dollar of tuition paid by students. It supplied more than $3.00 per tuition dollar in 1990.
Your gifts to Engineering at Illinois are absolutely necessary for us to maintain the prestige and quality of the College. They allow us to hire the best faculty, recruit the best students, reduce the financial burden for those students, and build cutting-edge new facilities.
