Student Organizations

Engineering student groups are involved in fun, exciting and important projects that develop leadership skills and put the knowledge they learn in the classroom to work.

Engineering Council

The students' voice in the College of Engineering consists of an executive board that oversees 13 committees and more than 50 professional and honor engineering societies. Engineering Council events help students to develop leadership skills, encourage personal and societal achievement, and build a sense of community among engineering students.

Engineering Open House

One of the largest student-run science fairs in the nation, this annual spring event attracts thousands of visitors to campus. Students show a myriad of engineering marvels and mysteries in this ever-changing world.

Engineering Expo

The Employment Expo, sponsored by Engineering Council, features more than 100 companies that will be hiring for full-time positions, internships, and co-ops.

Engineering Student Alumni Ambassadors (ESAA)

Engineering Student Alumni Ambassadors plan and host events and programs to strengthen student-alumni relations.

In addition, engineering students can join more than 1,000 campus-wide student organizations. . . or start a new group.
